Went with dear to Junction 8 and Ang Mo Kio Hub to shop for clothes (her’s) the entire afternoon.
Dear’s lunch – Deep Fried Mushrooms from AMK Hub

For dinner, we tried this:

My “Wan Chai Fried Rice”

Dear’s “Century Egg Poriddge” – Looked like it contains only half an egg chopped to bits

“Silk Beancurd” with Pork Floss

“Yuan Yang” and “Milk Tea” – Tastes very bland. Didn’t know Hong Kong beverage is that bad!

Slightly expensive dessert: Hashima w/ Red Dates

“Herbs Jelly w/ Honey”

Today’s a simple day. Had breakfast with dear at KFC (Trying their new breakfast menu) and then watching our free movie (I got my free pair of movie voucher by signing up for OCBC’s fixed deposit account).
The movie? Quantum of Solace! Yes, we watched it late but at least it was free!
Some complaints though:
- Excessively Dark in the cinema
- Crappy seats and small screen that was placed rather high
- Only one staff on duty at ticketing counter (And I believe he is the manager)
Oh did I mention that this was Eng Wah Cinema? We probably should stick to GV!

Today is finally the day – we will be the first few in Singapore to purchase the Sony Ericsson C905!
Though I already knew the exact launch date of this phone back in early October, I was not allowed to share in our blog. Dear was very very excited to get this phone. I am also going to change my phone from W760i to this but I’ll have to wait until Sony Ericsson resolve the matter (ahem, dispute) with me next week. Therefore, dear gets to enjoy the phone first …
In the morning, we were already on the train towards StarHub Shop (OUB Centre Branch) where we will purchase the phone. Without further delays, we present to you the unofficial, clumsy and unprofessional unboxing of the phone!

Food Fare @ Suntec
After the photography session with the new phone, we went to Suntec to visit the Food Safari. The following images are proof-of-damage to my pocket, adding injury to my already-bruised pocket from the above, ahem, phone.
Thai Spring Roll – Vegetables, Mint leaves, Bean sprouts, crab stick and 2 halves of prawn

BBQ Octopus – Something I don’t eat but dear loves it

Deep fried platter

Don’t know the english name for this:

Generous serving of ice cream – she ate it herself as I’m having a bad cough

Marina Square
Decorations for Christmas – Rather unique as it strays from the green, red and white theme

Our feeble attempt at eating “Dinner” – some dim sum from the food court

Some gummy candy I bought last week and a crazy stunt by dear in the middle of the food court!

After a hectic week at the office struggling between my own work and coaching a new staff, it’s finally a Saturday!
Went to Sim Lim square to update myself on the prices and what not. Then took a cab to Great World City to catch a movie and shop around since I haven’t been to Great World City for years (Since its out of the way).
Dear saw a yoghurt ice cream store and dragged me to it. Here’s ice cream we bought:

After buying our tickets for High School Musical 3, I brought Dear to a famous dessert store at Zion Road (Just opposite Great World City). Of course, we not only had desserts!

After that, we returned to Great World since it was scorching hot outside! Went to Espirit to look around and dear found a nice top and bought it! Pictured below “live” from the fitting room!

After that, we shopped more and went for our movie. We had a popcorn and lemon tea but the popcorn sucks! Take a look for yourself. Please note that this is not the bottom layer of my popcorn and every layer had similar amount of “unpopped” popcorn!. Just because we used a voucher to get this free popcorn doesn’t mean that they can serve such popcorn to us! I am definitely writing in to complain.

After the movie, we boarded the last shuttle bus to Chinatown and had supper. The “ngo hiong” stall didn’t have any beehoon left so we bought their items ala carte and then walked over to a stall selling fried bee hoon! Smart huh?

The End!

Today Dear and I went to Party World @ Orchard for a few hours of KTV and then went Far East to shop for her clothes. She bought:
- Formal shirt
- 3 pairs of earrings
- High heels
- Stick on Nails
- Belt
Then we proceed to Jurong Point to catch the movie 犬と私の10の約束 which almost made me cry out like a baby. I heard the guy sniffing behind me and sound of tissue paper packaging being crushed or opened in the whole cinema. I seriously have never watched any movie that is so touching and sad. Even Titanic cannot hold a candle to it. I intend to get the DVD when it is out. And do note that I rarely buy original stuff :p
Here’s some pictures
Sorry for the blur picture. I forgot to bring my digicam and I feel pressurised when a family of 7 is trying to cross the path between me and dear when I was taking this photo. Although the family look patient enough, its not so nice lah.

Our Dinner at Coffee Bean Tea Leaf
